BEACH OBOJENA/KAŠTELET
On the south side of the lush, hilly peninsula of Marjan lies the Kastelet Beach which is only a walking distance of 2.5 km to the southwest away. This beach is ideal for small children and non-swimmers thanks to the shallow banks of this expansive beach. Additionally, the well-attended, finely pebbled beach has only a few trees, thus meaning little shade. The cliffs at the edge of the beach provide only little cooling. On the beach there is a beach bar near a large parking lot. Parties also take place here in the evenings.
BEACH KAŠJUNI
The Kasjuni Beach is located in the idyllic surroundings of the lushly green peninsula of Marjan, 3.6 km southeast of the center, in a bay on the south coast. The pebbled beach is appreciated by visitors due to its location on the steep coast of the Marjan peninsula, which promises more privacy compared to urban beaches. A row of trees at the edge of the beach provides some shade. The bringing of parasols is recommended, but they cannot be rented on the beach. The sea can be reached over shallow shores, where lifeguards ensure safety. There is a beach bar, ample parking and a shower. Other facilities are not known.
BENE BEACH
Although not as accessible as the other beaches (because it is situated on the western part of the Marjan hill), Bene Beach is very popular. The fact that it is one of the rare beaches which has pine trees where you can hide from hot summer sun, makes Bene even more popular.
The town of Kaštela is located on the coast of the Bay of Kaštela. It has over 40 000 inhabitants, and it is the second largest town in the Split and Dalmatia County. It stretches over the length of 17 kilometers. Kaštela are specific because of the fact that it developed around 7 settlements (Kaštel Štafilić, Kaštel Novi, Kaštel Stari, Kaštel Lukšić, Kaštel Kambelovac, Kaštel Gomilica and Kaštel Sućurac) or around castles. Each village has its own particularity merged into character of this part of Mediterranean
Trogir is besides Split and Dubrovnik another pearl in Dalmatia. Trogir is only about 25 km north of Split and is a real highlight for every Croatia tourist. Trogir owes its special charm to its old town, which is separated from the mainland by a small canal. More than 2000 years old, the city enchants visitors from all over the world with its romantic streets, the palm fringed promenade and the warmth of its inhabitants. In 1997, the entire old town with its churches and squares was declared a World Heritage by UNESCO. For water sports enthusiasts the Kamerlengo fortress from the 15th century is already visible from afar and a landmark of the city.
Čiovo Island is the largest island of the Trogir archipelago and is connected to the town of Trogir by a bridge! There are a variety of beach resorts from the bustling and more commercialised main beach resort of Okrug Gornji to it’s quieter, more residential neighbour, Okrug Donji. At the other end of the island there are quieter villages like Slatine which have lovely stretches of beach and as you go on from there towards the end of the island there are more unspoilt beaches.
THE OKRUG BEACH
Most popular beach on Trogir riviera. It is 5km from Trogir center, easy reachable by road which follows south side of Island of Ciovo, to Okrug Gornji. Okrug is a two kilometers long gravel beach also called “Trogir Copacabana” because of its beauty and popularity. The vast number of beach bars and few restaurants keeps this place alive through the night.
KAVA SANDY BEACH
Kava beach is placed on the far east corner of the Ciovo Island, in the beautiful inlet near the old fishermen village of Slatine. Only 12km away from Trogir center, Kava Beach is one of the real natural beauties because it is not polluted by any buildings, hotels or houses in the area.
MEDENA BEACH
Medena Beach lies along the Seget Riviera, micro-location on the south side of Trogir. This 3km long gravel beach is surrounded by old pine-woods and features various sport facilities: Water Sport Center, tennis courts, football & basketball courts, beach volleyball and water-slide.
SLATINE BEACH
On the eastern side of Ciovo island there is a beautiful Slatine beach, very popular even among Split inhabitants.
Blue Lagoon, is protected with two islands from the outside, large (Veliki) and small (Small) Krknjas. It is special because of crystal clear sea with lighter and darker blue spots. Since the Blue Lagoon is the perfect place to explore the colorful underwater world, use your time there to swim and snorkel. If you feel like it, just float effortlessly and enjoy this amazing sea formation in the company of the beautiful sea creatures.
Stobreč is a historical village and now a tourist resort on the Adriatic Sea, in central Dalmatia, Croatia. Administratively it is part of the city of Split. Founded as Epetium, Stobreč has been settled since the classical antiquity founded by as an Ancient Greek colony on the Illyrian coast.
